What is the procedure to apply for a Final Judgment?

If you are the Applicant, you can apply for / extract your Final Judgment through eLitigation at the LawNet & CrimsonLogic Service Bureau.


If you are the Respondent, you must first apply for the Court's permission to apply for your Final Judgment. Apply by summons, with a supporting affidavit explaining why you, and not the Plaintiff, have had to apply for the Final Judgment. You may do so through eLitigation at the LawNet & CrimsonLogic Service Bureau.


Note that application for the Final Judgment can only be done after all ancillary matters have been concluded, or 3 months after Interim Judgment is granted, whichever comes later. The application for Final Judgment must also be done within 1 year of Interim Judgment or within 3 months of the Ancillary Order, failing which, a Summons to extend time has to be filed first.
