What is the Mandatory Co-Parenting Programme?

Updated by SGCOURTS

From 1 July 2024, all couples with at least one child below 21 years of age will be required to complete the Mandatory Co-Parenting Programme (CPP) before filing for divorce.

Under the CPP, parents receive support from counsellors to help them make informed decisions that prioritises the well-being of their children, such as working out co-parenting arrangements arising from a divorce.

You can find out more about the CPP here: https://familyassist.msf.gov.sg/content/proceeding-with-divorce/divorce-proceedings/mandatory-co-parenting-programme-cpp/cpp-in-english/
