To be eligible to apply for a divorce in Singapore, you or your spouse must be a Singaporean citizen or have been living in Singapore for the past 3 years. You should have been married for at least 3 years from the date of registration of the marriage.

If you were married under civil law, you should apply for a divorce in the Family Courts.

If you were married under Syariah Law, you should file for divorce in Syariah Courts.
