If I was absent for a subject, will this be shown on my GCE-Level examination certificate?
You are required to sit for all registered components or papers of a subject examined in the GCE-Level examinations, such as Oral, Listening Comprehension, Coursework, Practical and Written Papers.
An "Absent" grade will be issued for a particular subject if you did not sit for one or more components, unless you have been granted prior exemption by the SEAB.
Similarly, candidates who miss any of an examination’s papers without valid reasons such as illness, will be marked as “Absent” for that examination.
The “Absent” grade will not be shown on your examination certificate.
