The Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) is one of the supporting documents that I have to submit for application of the storage license. Which FSC is this?
The Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) is one of the supporting documents required for the application of the P&FM storage license. FSC is a document issued by SCDF for any completed fire safety works. To obtain the FSC, you will need to engage a Qualified Person (QP) to prepare and submit building plans that incorporate the fire safety works in accordance with the Fire Code. Once the fire safety works are completed, you will need to engage a Registered Inspector (RI) to conduct on-site evaluation to verify compliance to the approved building plans. Once the RI verification is in order, your QP will apply for the FSC on your behalf. You may click HERE for the list of RIs.
