It is assessed that most HDB blocks are rather close to one another so 1 AED for every 2 HDB residential blocks provides sufficient AED coverage. Hence for financial prudence, we are installing 1 AED for every 2 HDB residential blocks. If no AED is immediately available, members of public can still assist by performing chest compressions until the arrival of SCDF ambulance.
