Under the Save-A-Life initiative, SCDF installs an AED at the lift lobby of one in every two HDB residential blocks in consideration of the close proximity between the blocks. If an AED is not immediately available, members of the public can still assist by performing chest compressions until the arrival of SCDF emergency responders.
