Can I change my society's name after my society is registered?
Under the Societies Act, a society may only change its name with the prior approval in writing of the Registry of Societies.
If the society is registered IPC/Charity, the society is required to seek the support of the Commissioner of Charities before submitting an application to the Registry of Societies for change of name.
