What is the difference between the Music talent area, the Music Elective Programme (MEP), and the Performing Arts talent areas?
Music, Performing Arts (PA) and Visual Arts are talent areas under RI's DSA-Sec Performing Arts & Visual Arts domain. Their differences are as follows:
For Music, successful applicants are required to join the Music Elective Programme (MEP). There is no requirement to join a music-related CCA.
For Visual Arts, successful applicants are required to join the RI-Art Elective Programme (RI-AEP). There is no requirement to join a related CCA.
For Performing Arts, successful applicants are required to join the CCA of the talent area which they have been accepted in from Year 1-4. The PA CCAs are Chinese Orchestra, Choir, Concert Band, and String Ensemble.
