What does being placed on the Wait List mean?

Updated by RI
Students placed on the Wait List will be given a place in the school, subject to available vacancies, i.e. if other students turn down their Confirmed Offers. They will still need to opt for the school during DSA-Sec School Preference Submission period and achieve a PSLE score that qualifies them for a course (https://www.moe.gov.sg/secondary/courses) offered by the school. If your child is successfully allocated to a secondary school under DSA-Sec, they will not be allowed to transfer to another school after the release of PSLE results or participate in Secondary 1 Posting to opt for secondary schools. They are expected to honour the commitment to the allocated DSA school for the entire duration of the programme.
