While the SYFC is not offered as a CCA at RI Year 1-4, the SYFC is recognised as an external CCA at Year 5-6.

That said, RI will look at applications to participate in an external CCA on a case-by-case basis. With close to 70 different CCAs in RI Year 5-6, students are strongly encouraged to take part in a school CCA. Taking part in a school CCA enables you to build strong friendships and camaraderie with your schoolmates. Many alumni have shared how their school CCA was one of the most significant highlights of their time in RI.
