With the shift to online lectures, will students face learning anxiety and expect to spend more time on their academics at home?

Students are issued clear instructions and a viewing schedule for each subject. Subject teachers will also monitor students' progress and clarify their queries during tutorials.

There is no need for students to complete all the materials in one sitting, e.g. on Gap Day. They should pace themselves and plan their viewing schedule throughout the week (during free periods at school, after school, and on weekends).

The shift to online lectures allows students greater flexibility in planning their study schedule. The total curriculum time allocated for each subject per week (including lectures, tutorials and practical lessons) remains unchanged and is aligned to MOE's guidelines for each subject. As such this will not lead to an increase in curriculum time.
