Why do I need to show my Concession Card if I am paying cash fares?
Concession Cardholders are required to present their Concession Cards to prove their eligibility for travel concessions, including concessionary cash fares.
The Concession Card is to be presented and placed on the fare reader. This is to verify the validity of the Concession Card before cash is deposited into the fare box.
