I need to take the train but I do not have a stored value card. How can I purchase a ticket for single or return rail trips?

Sale of standard tickets for single or return rail trips has ended in March 2022. This move comes as most commuters are already using stored value cards (i.e. EZ-Link and NETS FlashPay cards, and concession cards) and account-based ticketing such as contactless bank cards.

LTA has also reduced the minimum top-up amount for stored value cards at ticketing machines to $2, down from $10 for adults and $5 for student concession cards. This will allow commuters who have limited cash on hand to top up, continue their journeys and enjoy the cost savings. For more information, please click here.
