What is the Prime Minister's annual salary? What are the components?
The Prime Minister (PM) receives a total annual salary package that is set at two times that of an MR4 Minister’s reference annual salary. An independent review committee examined the PM’s pay ratio in 2026 and deemed it to be reasonable compared with what it observed in the private and public sectors.
With effect from 15 October 2026, the PM is paid an annual salary package of S$3.6 million. This includes the 13th month bonus, Annual Variable Component and National Bonus (if all the targets are achieved).
