What are the chances of getting a place in PRSS?
Students will be posted to a secondary school based on merit using the PSLE Score which will be the sum total of the 4 AL scores, and their choice order of school. Hence a student would have a higher chance of getting a place in PRSS if he/she meets the PSLE cut-off point and ranked PRSS higher in the choice order of school. Should two students with the same PSLE score vie for the last remaining place in a school, tie breakers would be applied in the following order:
- Citizenship - Singaporeans will be given priority
- Choice order of schools
- Computerised balloting
Students will be briefed by their respective primary schools on the secondary school posting process.
