The Parents Gateway app uses Singpass to identify parents of students in MOE schools. Once the Singpass is used to identify and authenticate the parent, it is terminated and the app takes over. Hence, the Singpass ID and password will not be stored in the app. So, there is no risk of parents’ credentials being compromised even if they stay logged in.
