My solemniser just informed us that he/she is unable to officiate our wedding and we have found a replacement. Can we ask for a waiver of the fees payable for change of solemnisation details?
If a solemniser is unable to solemnise your marriage after he/she has accepted your invitation via the portal, he/she should inform the Registry of Marriages (ROM) stating the reason for ROM to cancel the booking and assist with fee waiver for change of solemnisation details.
