When should we submit our marriage application in order to meet the legal requirement?

You should submit your marriage application at least 21 days, but no earlier than 6 months, before your intended solemnisation date. The minimum notice period of 21 days is a statutory requirement under the Women's Charter. You may use the application date calculator on the 'Our Marriage Journey' website (Civil Marriage) to check when you should submit your marriage application for your intended solemnisation date.
