My spouse-to-be does not speak our local languages and dialects. Can a friend act as an interpreter during our Verification of Documents and Declaration (V/D) appointment and solemnisation?

If your spouse-to-be does not speak any local language or dialect, you should appoint a Certified Interpreter listed by the respective Embassies, for your Verification of documents and Declaration (V/D) appointment and solemnisation.
