You may refer here to search for a person's marriage record for marriages registered from 1 March 1969.

Search for Marriage Records (Paid Service)

This service provides a certified hardcopy of the search result that can be collected by the applicant or delivered by mail. A fee of S$35.00 is payable for each search request.

Free Search for Marriage Records

Singapore citizens and Singapore PRs with SingPass may enjoy two free online searches over a 12-month period. This service only provides an on-screen result. Do note that the Register of Marriages:

  • does not capture records of marriages contracted overseas or under the laws, custom, religion or usage of other countries; does not reflect an individual's current marital status;

  • does not confirm the validity of the marriages recorded; and

  • contains only information recorded at the time of marriage i.e. all information is historical and any change in name, identity number, or marital status are not captured in the Register of Muslim Marriages

To search for a marriage record, you need the NRIC (Identity Card) Number or Passport Number of a party to the marriage or the party's name. A search will be made using the exact information provided.

You may conduct a search by Name but any missing character, blank space, misspelling, dash, other punctuation, or re-arrangement of words may result in a failed search. There is no refund for a failed search.
