What is the medical condition(s) which the student will not be enrolled into the MOE-OBS Challenge Programme?

OBS reviews admission conditions periodically and as of October 2023, the following are non-admissible conditions:

  • Epilepsy / fits / seizures – Any episodes or on medication within the last 2 years;

  • Unavoidable allergens resulting in severe allergic reaction – e.g. traces of allergen, insect bites, unknown allergens that triggers life threatening reactions;

  • Thalassemia Major;

  • Conditions leading to exemption from PE, on medical leave or light duty that covers the period of the course;

  • Psychological/ behavioural conditions that may pose harm to oneself or others;

  • Any conditions that may impair movement and/or adversely affect safety to self or others during the course.
