Monitoring of conditions is applicable to non-medical emergency conditions only. In these cases, assessment and review is done hourly and up to 2 hours to determine if condition improves, otherwise, the student may be sent to an external medical clinic. If it is an emergency, OBS will send the student to the hospital immediately. Aside from Instructor’s assessment, the OBS medical team comprising of registered nurses may also assess the condition.
