You'll have to wait for the service to be back up again to download the death or stillbirth certificate.

Meanwhile, any of these alternative documents issued by the hospital or doctor:

• Confirmation of Death (COD),

• Confirmation of Stillbirth (COS)

• NEHR printout document

can be accepted for

• Funeral Arrangements & Wake Space Booking

• Burial & Cremation

Documents such as the eRBD printout and Certificate of Cause of Death (CCOD) cannot be used as alternative documents for funeral arrangements and other immediate post-death matters. Please see samples of these alternative documents here.
