For deaths that occur after 29 May 2022, only digital death certificates will be issued.

If the bank requests for an original hardcopy, you can provide the digital death certificate to the banks. The bank is able to verify these death certificates by scanning the QR code printed at the bottom right of the digital death certificates or via this link.
