Is crowning on the tooth allowed? Is wudhu' be valid since the tooth will be covered?

Updated by MUIS

Islamic teachings permit dental crowning when performed for medical purposes rather than purely cosmetic reasons. This aligns with the general principle in Islamic jurisprudence that allows medical interventions aimed at preserving health or restoring function.

Regarding ritual purification, teeth are not considered external body parts that require direct washing with water. They are viewed as part of the internal structure of the body. Consequently, even if one does not rinse the mouth during ablution (wudhu'), the ablution remains valid.
