Workmen compensation, purchased and paid for my late brother by his company. Does it fall under the estate of the deceased & should it be divided according to the certificate of Inheritance? or it is considered a gifts/token?
The office of the Mufti, in its fatwa issued in 1970, 2005 and 2009 ruled that work compensation is considered as the deceased's estate that should be distributed according to Fariad.
