How do saved drafts work in the GPL Portal?
When you fill in a Government-Paid Leave (GPL) claim on the GPL Portal, your draft is saved automatically as you go. There is no manual save button — you do not need to take any action to save your progress.
Editing a saved draft
Who can edit a saved draft depends on your CPF Submission Number (CSN) type. If your CSN begins with a UEN, only users with the Preparer role assigned to that CSN can edit saved drafts. If your CSN begins with an NRIC or FIN, you can only edit drafts saved under your own Singpass account — other users cannot access or edit your drafts.
Deleting a saved draft
You cannot manually delete a saved draft in the GPL Portal. All drafts are automatically deleted 7 calendar days after they were first saved, regardless of whether the claim was completed or submitted.
Why can't I find my saved draft?
If you cannot locate a saved draft, there are two possible reasons. The draft may have been retrieved and edited by another authorised user (if your CSN is UEN-based and another Preparer accessed it), or the draft has been automatically deleted after 7 calendar days. Drafts are not recoverable once deleted.
