I was retrenched before fully taking my additional two weeks of Government-Paid Paternity Leave (GPPL). Can I apply for a Government-Paid Paternity Benefit (GPPB) top-up?
Yes. Fathers who were retrenched before they could fully utilise their GPPL may still qualify for a Government-Paid Paternity Benefit GPPB top-up. Please submit a form to us here for further assistance.

If a parent’s employment ends after birth of the child (e.g. due to contract expiry, retrenchment, or resignation) before he/she has finished using their leave, will the Government grant a top-up of Government-Paid Maternity Benefits (GPMB), Paternity Benefits (GPPB), Shared Parental Leave Benefit (SPB) or Adoption Benefits (GPAB) for the unconsumed leave?
