The Baby Gift is a cash benefit under the SG Child Support Package. Eligible Singapore Citizen children born on or after 1 April 2027 will receive a Baby Gift of $10,000, disbursed in two tranches within 12 months of a child’s birth. Children who are still receiving Baby Bonus Cash Gift under the Baby Bonus Scheme will continue to receive the payouts until 31 March 2027. As the Baby Gift will replace the Baby Bonus Cash Gift, they will receive a top-up by 30 April 2027 to bring their total amount of support to $10,000 (as applicable).
