Are there situations where my LPA can be revoked even if I do not revoke it myself?
Yes, your registered LPA may be revoked if an event occurs that affects the validity of the LPA or that affects the appointment of a Donee, such as:
The death of the Donor or a Donee
The liquidation, winding up, dissolution, or judicial management of a Donee, if Donee is a corporation
The bankruptcy of the Donor or a Donee (this only affects the parts of the LPA relating to the Donor's property and affairs)
The dissolution (i.e. divorce) or annulment of the marriage between the Donor and a Donee, unless the LPA states otherwise
A Donee loses mental capacity
