I need to buy eyewear for my child. What are the Approved Institutions (AIs) available to purchase eyewear for my child?
Parents can continue using other forms of Government support such as Baby Bonus Cash Gift, Child LifeSG Credits to purchase eyewear for their children’s needs.
From 1 Jan 2026, optical shops will no longer be Baby Bonus Approved Institutions (AIs). As such, parents will not be able to use their child’s Child Development Account (CDA) money to pay for purchases made at optical shops.
