Can I use the funding to install other technology (e.g. non-intrusive sensors) instead of CCTVs with video-analytics?
No, the funding is scoped to cover what MSF will be making mandatory under the SRHA Codes of Practice.
The funding is only for the installation of CCTVs (with video-analytics function in the mandatory areas) and prerequisite infrastructure (e.g. network switches etc) necessary for the CCTV system to work.
SRHs may apply to NCSS Tech-and-Go for alternative funding to install other technology that can complement the CCTVs to ensure the safety of residents.
