As the regulatory requirements under this Bill build upon existing requirements in other licensing legislation and/or service models, we are confident that the majority of licensable SRHs will be ready to meet the SRHB requirements. MSF has been consulting the SRHs in the development of the Code of Practice and will continue to engage the SRHs on the operational details. Nonetheless, in the lead-up to the commencement of the SRHB, MSF will commence developmental checks for SRHs to assess their readiness to meet the regulatory requirements. MSF will work closely with SRHs to develop plans to address regulatory gaps that are identified in such checks.
