With the SRHA in force, how will MSF deal with non-compliances and breaches of requirements?

Updated by MSF

MSF will take a fair and reasonable approach to address non-compliance and breaches of requirements under the SRHA, Regulations and Code of Practice.

MSF will work with SRHs to address issues early to help SRHs comply with the requirements. Where the safety and well-being of residents have been compromised or is at risk, MSF will take firm actions in egregious cases. Depending on the severity of the breach and/or harm caused to residents, MSF may either pursue regulatory actions (e.g., revocation of licence, suspension of approval), or pursue criminal penalties (i.e. imprisonment and fines).
