How do Enabled Living Programme (ELP) and Home Support Programme (HSP) differ from current home care services, and will they use existing providers?
ELP and HSP will provide support services to PwD clients to enable them to live within the community, e.g., basic supervision and monitoring, coaching and reinforcing independent living skills.
ELP and HSP providers will not provide traditional home care services such as housekeeping, meal delivery or groceries shopping, instead they will coach and train the persons with disabilities to perform such tasks themselves or refer clients to sign up these other services as needed.
