Will additional support be provided to students from other institutes of higher learning (IHLs) (i.e. polytechnics, autonomous universities and arts institutes) to prepare and transition into employment?
All IHL students with disabilities can tap on the existing IHL Internship and RISE mentorship programmes. The former aims to provide current students with opportunities to gain work exposure, and the latter allows final year students and recent graduates to gain a better understanding of their work skills, build up professional networks and tap on their mentor’s wealth of knowledge and work experience.
These help to prepare and guide IHL students and graduates with disabilities in their employment journey post-graduation.
