What is the Children-in-Between (CiB) programme?

Children-in-Between (CiB) is a programme for parents and their children between 6 to less than 15 years old. This workshop is run by family counsellors from Strengthening Families Programme centres (FAM@FSC centres). Both parents and their children are encouraged to attend the workshops, which will be conducted in separate sessions.


The CiB workshops cover topics for both parents and children:


For Parents

1. Practical co-parenting skills

2. Ways to reduce parental conflict

3. Understanding the needs of their children in a divorce situation


For Children

1.  Positive ways to cope with their parents’ divorce

2.  Exploring feelings and fears, myths and truths

3.  Skills to share their feelings
