Why are the Large Family Medisave Grant and increased Child Development Account First Step Grant available from Budget 2025, whereas the Large Family Credits are only available in September 2025?

The Large Families Scheme is new, and lead time is needed to implement the necessary changes to our IT and payment systems to ensure smooth disbursements to eligible families. We aim to roll out each support measure, including the Large Family Credits, as soon as ready so that all eligible families can start benefitting as quickly as possible.
