I am divorced or widowed, will my children from a previous marriage be counted as part of my current family nucleus when my family is being assessed for eligibility for the Large Family LifeSG Credits?

Updated by MSF

If you are divorced or widowed, children under your care and control will be included in your family nucleus when your family is being assessed for eligibility for the Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC).

If you are remarried, all the children under you and your spouse’s care and control will collectively count as part of your current family nucleus when your family is being assessed for eligibility for the LFLC.

For a summary of how the family nucleus is defined to determine eligibility, please refer to the LFLC factsheet here: https://go.gov.sg/lflc-factsheet
