My child is born before the commencement of the Large Families Scheme. Will my child still be eligible to receive the benefits?
Children born before 18 February 2025 currently receive comprehensive support under the Marriage and Parenthood Package. They will also receive the one-off Child LifeSG Credits announced at Budget 2025 held on 18 February 2025.
Families whose third or subsequent child has an Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) on or after 18 February 2025 but was born earlier than 18 February 2025 may appeal to MSF for the Large Family MediSave Grant and increased Child Development Account First Step Grant eligibility based on their EDD.
You may submit an appeal to MSF via FormSG at http://go.gov.sg/lfs-eddappeal with a copy of the doctor's certification. The certification should include (a) the child's EDD, (b) the mother's name and identification number, and (c) the name of the clinic and the doctor's signature with Medical Registration (MCR) number.
