If the Child Savings Account (CSA) was closed previously, can it be reopened?
Yes, you can reopen a CSA. Simply visit the CDA bank and they will assist you with the reopening process.
Important:
CSA is the default account for your child to receive Government payments, including Baby Bonus Cash Gift and education awards/financial assistance.
Please keep the CSA open to avoid delays in receiving payments. No minimum balance, fees or charges will be imposed to keep the account opened.
