My child is not a Singapore citizen (SC) at birth, can I still enrol my child for the Baby Bonus Scheme?

Your child needs to be a SC to enrol for the Baby Bonus Scheme. You can apply for Singapore citizenship through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at https://www.ica.gov.sg/enter-depart/for-singapore-citizens/child-born-overseas. Once your child is a SC, you can enrol them in the Baby Bonus Scheme at https://www.life.gov.sg/services/baby-bonus. Benefits might be adjusted based on when they become a citizen. Remember to apply before 31 December of the year in which your child turns 12 years old.
