Eligible Singapore citizen child may receive:

1. Baby Bonus Cash Gift

• Cash gift will be paid into your child's Child Savings Account (CSA) every 6 months till your child is 6.5 years old

• CSA is a joint savings account that will be opened automatically with the CDA

2. Child Development Account (CDA) benefits

• First Step Grant: This is a one-off amount automatically paid into the CDA

• Government co-matching: Receive an extra dollar for every dollar you deposit into the CDA, up to your child's eligible cap

• CDA is a special savings account for selected expenses at Baby Bonus Approved Institutions

The eligibility and amount of benefits may vary based on when the child becomes a citizen, the birth order and the parent's marital status.
