The person without mental capacity ("P") passed away. What are my responsibilities?

The deputyship order ceases on the day P passes away.


Deputy will no longer be able to act on behalf of P. Only the executor/Administrator of P's estate can manage P's affairs after P passes away. You may want to seek legal advice on how to proceed.


Send a copy of P’s death certificate to OPG via Online FormSG https://go.gov.sg/opg-enquiry. Our officers will contact you if OPG requires deputy to file a final deputy report.
