What is the maximum Child Development Account (CDA) balance that will be transferred to my child’s Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA)?

The maximum amount that can be transferred to the PSEA is based on the sum of the Government co-matching cap, the deposits made by parents or third parties up to the Government co-matching cap, any Child Development Credit and any accrued interest.


Any CDA balance above this transfer cap will be refunded to the CDA trustee. MSF will notify the CDA trustee about the refund arrangement by early next year (around February) after the CDA has closed.
