How long will the legal process take?

The length of the legal process for a Hague Convention case varies. It depends on factors such as: * whether the child can be located * whether an appeal is filed and * when a case can be ready for hearing and the time taken for hearing and decision by the court. However, the Singapore Court is committed to resolving cases as soon as possible so that family relationships can be restored to what it was prior to the abduction.
