If the taking parent decides to remain in the foreign country, how will arrangements be made for the child's return?

Updated by MSF

While the Court in the foreign jurisdiction can order for the return of the child, the judge may not mandate the taking parent to return with the child to his or her country of habitual residence. If an application is successful, the left-behind parent in Singapore may need to travel to the foreign jurisdiction to bring the child back if the taking parent does not wish to return to Singapore.
