Updated by MSF

MSF worked with Families for Life (FFL), MOE, ECDA and early childhood educators and lecturers to develop a series of ‘Family and Me’ preschool resource packages to support the teaching of family values in the classroom. The first series was developed for K1-K2 students and the next upcoming series will be for early learners in N1-N2.

Through these packages, children learn how they can demonstrate these values and they will develop the necessary social-emotional skills to maintain healthy family relations in the future. These packages consist of Big Books with stories centred on the four family values, mini versions of these Big Books which can be placed in reading corners, Teacher’s guides containing lesson plans, activity pages with in-class and take-home activities and teaching manipulatives such as hand puppets and games which serve to extend the learning for children beyond the lessons.
