What are the Families for Life (FFL) marriage programmes for soon-to-wed, newly-weds and married couples?

FFL offers a wide range of marriage programmes to strengthen relationships between spouses to build stronger and more resilient families. 

1. Prevention and Relationship Education Programme (PREP)

PREP is an evidence-based programme that aims to equip soon-to-wed and newly-wed (within two years of marriage) couples with effective communication and conflict resolution skills to build a strong marriage foundation and attain higher relationship satisfaction. PREP also covers topics such as commitment, friendship and problem-solving.

Cost: $350 - $420 (Eligible couples will receive a $140 rebate upon completion to offset the cost).


2. Online Prevention and Relationship Education Programme (ePREP)

ePREP is as an online version of PREP and provides couples with a convenient and flexible option of six self-learning sections that couples can complete at their own pace. ePREP covers topics such as communication, conflict management, commitment, friendship, and problem solving.

ePREP is suitable for soon-to-wed couples preparing for marriage and newly-wed couples (within two years of marriage).

3. Marriage Preparation Programme (MPrep)

MPrep are evidence-informed programmes, consisting of core modules designed to prepare couples for important aspects of married life. These modules include Family of Origin, Communication & Conflict Resolution, Sexual Intimacy, Family Planning/Fertility Awareness, Financial Planning, Role Relationship & Expectations, and In-law Relationship.

Cost: $130 - $680 (Eligible couples will receive a $70 rebate upon completion to offset the cost).


4. Cinta Abadi (Eternal Love) Marriage Preparation Programme (CA Prep)

CA Prep helps soon-to-wed and newlywed Muslim (first marriage) couples to learn and discover more about themselves and their partners. Through a variety of interactive activities, you will learn skills and knowledge to build a strong marriage foundation.

This programme is supported by MSF, MUIS and ROMM.

Cost: $180 - $250 (Eligible couples will receive a $70 rebate upon completion to offset the cost).


5. Prepare/Enrich (P/E) - Marriage Enrichment Programme (MEP)

Prepare/Enrich (P/E) is an evidence-based customised couple assessment inventory that identifies couples' strengths and growth areas and enables couples to gain personalised insights into their relationship dynamics, commitment levels, personality, spiritual beliefs and family systems.

Over P/E MEP sessions, couples can expect to identify their strengths and build confidence in their relationship skills with the help of a Certified Facilitator and the P/E assessment inventory tool.

6. Cinta Abadi Marriage Enrichment Programme (CA Enrich)

CA Enrich is for married couples and support transitions to marriage and parenthood. CA Enrich covers topics such as nurturing marital relationship, money matters and negotiating parenting roles.
